Echeveria Trumso, Small Form

Trumso is such a unique plant. We debuted this cultivar in the US in February 2018. Over the years different forms have emerged, some taking on much larger sizes, some forms with tight rosettes. It just depends on the parentage and gene distribution. Some Trumsos have a slightly different form depending on the cultivating farm; it's not a completely stable hybrid.

One of the more stable forms it takes is this small rosette with a rich raspberry center. There's so much sugar on the little rosettes that they remind us of raspberry filled powder donuts.

All Trumso hybrids will lose their raspberry centers as the heat sets in. It happens on all of the variations. The raspberry centers are not chemically induced, they are a reaction to cold weather. In order to have this coloration reemerge each year, you will need to provide the plant with full sun and cold mornings. The combination of high UV and cold is what causes their centers to blush.
