Echeveria Lulu

Lulu is a hybrid we first saw enter the rare succulent market in autumn of 2018. Her popularity sky rocketed (thanks to her ability to throw gorgeous, rich pinks when perfectly stressed) and in 2019 she was more widely available. Now only a handful of farms are growing this hybrid again, but she remains one of our favorites.

Her leaves are oblong and pointed at the tip. Lulu can range in coloration depending on season and stress levels. She tends to remain a nice lavender color even when not stressed. The rosettes themselves measure in at about 2.5" across, with the occasional mature head measuring in at close to 3" across. Lulu is prolific in terms of pupping and has a tendency to cluster. We see these available at our partner farms in both single rooted rosettes and sold in clusters.

We will not be able take specific requests on single heads versus clusters, it will just depend on what our cultivating farms have available, but our pricing will reflect what we are able to source.

As stated above, coloration will depend on the time of year. The Lulu we have pictured here is fully stressed and most Lulus will be lighter in appearance or even purple depending on the season.Bare root availability varies by cultivating farm.

All photos are property of Cedar Creek Farmhouse and feature actual plants we have sold. Coloration of this cultivar may vary depending on time of year and the plants shown in our photos may be either cold stressed or UV stressed. If you wish to use our photos please send us a permission request.
