Aeonium Sedifolium

The petite branches of Sedifolium almost resemble a perfectly trained miniature Bonsai tree. These sweet little clusters typically display foliage of gold with a red candy cane stripe down the center of each dainty leaf.

Sedifolium branches are generally dormant during the hottest months. They prefer the same temperatures as people do and will come out of dormancy when temps regularly hit 65-75°F. In their growing season Sedifolium prefers more water than other succulents, during this time you should water your Aeoniums any time the soil is dry an inch below the top soil. Ample drainage for containers is a must, do not allow water to sit on the roots for an extended period of time or you will see root rot with this cultivar.

In general you can expect our Sedifolium bunches to measure between 2.5-4" across (occasionally larger). Sizing just depends on current availability. These almost always ship with dormant roots and they will need patience before you can expect to see new roots.

Our Sedifolium may be opened or closed, depending on the season that your request is placed in.
