Adodes

When dormant, Adodes (Aeonium Saundersii) resembles a miniature bonsai tree with its cherry red 'flower buds.'

All Adodes have a light coating of protective material that helps the plant to keep its 'buds' tightly closed during dormancy to protect the plant from extreme weather and pests. We clean our branches thoroughly to remove any dirt or artifacts before we ship them, but because of this naturally sticky coating it can be difficult for us to get the leaves perfectly clean as we prepare them for shipping. In other words, there may be a stray dandelion fluff stuck to the buds of your Adodes, but we'll do our best to clean each branch well.

These almost always ship with dormant roots. Branches generally measure in at about 3-4" across. Each Adodes we sell will vary in the amount of heads on its branches (the exact number will just depend on the individual branch you get, but most have 5-8 heads).

We source our Adodes from multiple farms and your branch may vary slightly from our reference photo (depending on time of year).

All photos are property of Cedar Creek Farmhouse and feature actual plants we have sold. Coloration of this cultivar may vary depending on time of year and the plants shown in our photos may be either cold stressed or UV stressed. If you wish to use our photos please send us a permission request.
