Echeveria Lenore Dean, Variegata

The rare succulent scene really started to get underway in the states around the summer of 2017. Back then Compton Carousel was on the tips of everyone's tongue. It is still a highly revered classic today, but we call it by its given name 'Lenore Dean.'

There are varying reports of her origin, some swearing this is variegated Imbricata, others claiming a Glauca mix-- we simply just call her a classic.

This cultivar is known for being a diva and the reputation is well-earned. She is fickle and if she doesn't like your watering schedule she can turn on a dime. Make sure to pot her with well draining, in-organic mix and be stingy in your watering until she settles in.

Most of our Lenore Dean single rosettes measure in at about 2-3" across. Bare root availability depends on the cultivating farm.

All photos are property of Cedar Creek Farmhouse and feature actual plants we have sold. Coloration of this cultivar may vary depending on time of year and the plants shown in our photos may be either cold stressed or UV stressed. If you wish to use our photos please send us a permission request.
