Dudleya Pachyphytum

Dudleya Pachyphytum was first discovered on a small island in the Pacific Ocean in 1971. These grow on the outcroppings of rocky cliffs under frequently foggy conditions. They are only known to grow naturally on the island. Seeds were released by the Huntington Botanic Garden's International Succulent Institute in 1998 and we are now seeing this plant in cultivation across farms in South Korea as well.

All of our Dudleya Pachyphytum are cultivated. We do not engage in any business where plants are taken from their wild habitat.

Dudleya Pachyphytum is a slow growing and sometimes difficult species to root. They prefer a more organic blend of soil. This species should only be attempted by experienced collectors because these aren't the easiest plants to establish.

Prices on immature Dudleya Pachyphytums have started to fall within the last year, but mature specimens can still be very pricey and hard to find. Final pricing depends on size, quality and current market conditions. We are hand selected medium sized to semi mature Dudleya Pachyphytums for this request listing.
