Delosperma Echinatum, Variegata

These are more commonly known as 'pickle plants' because her leaves look like itty bitty pickles. In variegated form stress colors display in soft touches of cotton candy hues along the tips of new growth.

We have seen variegated pickle plants reach 8" across at full maturity, but it can take years to reach that size. They will lose lower 'pickles' on each branch as they grow and in time the branches will harden and firm up where it has lost pickles (forming a really nice branchy look).

Our variegated Echinatums come in measuring about 2-3.5" across. Bare roots depend on the cultivating farm.

All photos are property of Cedar Creek Farmhouse and feature actual plants we have sold. Coloration of this cultivar may vary depending on time of year and the plants shown in our photos may be either cold stressed or UV stressed. If you wish to use our photos please send us a permission request.
